Mighty Oaks Day Nursery | Early Education Funding

Mighty Oaks Day Nursery
Early Education Funding is provided by the government to ensure that all children in the two years prior to school can access good quality early years education.

Children can receive 15 - 30 hours per week of government funded childcare for up to 51 weeks of the year. We offer stretched (51 weeks) and non-stretched (38 weeks) funding for children entitled to government funding. Our term times are defined by BCP Council and payment are made directly to the Nursery.
Please go to www.bournemouth.gov.uk/childreneducation/childcare/paying-for-childcare/paying-for-childcare.aspx to find out when your child will be eligible for funding.
Your 30 hours can be used either during term times (38 weeks a year) or be "stretched" over 51 weeks. However, if stretched, your entitlement reduces to 22 hours per week.
